Which browsers does zk.money support?

We support the latest versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Brave, Firefox).

NB. Firefox WASM performance is very slow, so whilst this will work we recommend using an alternative, i,e Chrome.

Is zk.money compatible with contract wallets?

When un-shielding to contract wallets, Aztec will forward 30,000 gas. Please ensure this amount is sufficient for the contract wallet to receive the transaction.

Does zk.money supports Gnosis Safe?

In order to use zk-money with ‘Gnosis safe’, you need to pick a different source wallet to derive your private key. (i.e a hot wallet or Metamask), once you have created your account, you can then use your gnosis safe as the source of your ETH/DAI when you are shielding to zkETH/DAI on the shield modal.

Can I use zkETH/DAI on DeFi apps?

Aztec will enable private transactions on DeFi applications towards Fall 2021. In the meantime, zk.money can help you increase anonymity when interacting with DeFi apps by sending zkETH/DAI back to layer 1 to receive regular tokens.
